Create, Communicate, and Contribute–these three words help guide BoomerTECH Adventures’ work. Aging has its challenges, however, the ability to be an active member of one’s family and community does not have to diminish. These days, the available digital devices, apps , and tools allow us to continue to create, communicate, and contribute in significant ways. Unfortunately, technology changes so rapidly that it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. We provide resources to help folks to understand and implement the myriad digital options that seem to pop up overnight. Our resources include:
- Over 150 free videos on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1rS22ccn11gtOXY2yp1yRw
- A variety of self-paced online courses available on our website and through many Maine Adult Ed programs: https://www.boomertechadventures.com/downloads/
- A variety of articles and guides on our website: https://www.boomertechadventures.com/resources/filter-type-tips-tricks/
We’ve added something new to our website—just for you: the BTA Tech Sense blog!
- It’s written in plain English—no tech jargon—and explains how to use your iPhone, iPad, or Mac in simple, everyday terms.
- You’ll find helpful tips and how-tos, all based on real questions we get from clients and friends just like you.
- Best of all? It’s completely free.
- If you’ve ever wished someone would just explain tech in a way that makes sense—you’re going to love this.

Just tap or click on the Follow button and you will receive notification of each new post (about once a week). Also, our website is searchable if you are looking for specific information.
Looking at the image above, you will notice three posts are up:

- Take a Break–three minutes of stepping away from the frantic world to enjoy beautiful Maine scenery.
